Vinyls as an Outlet
My mother gifted me a record player for Christmas when I was 15. She did this in hopes of giving me an outlet for my love of Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra, Carole King, and other classics. As I began sifting through the dustiest corners of the universe to grow my collection, I began finding myself in the music. I now see this collection as an extension of who I am.
