The Public Theater
Lead Designer | 2022 – 2026
As Lead Designer at The Public Theater, I worked directly alongside our Art Director and our in-house Brand Studio to deliver engaging visual print and digital collateral from conceptualization to execution. I've designed marketing and promotional assets for The Public's shows, Joe's Pub, and Shakespeare In The Park. As the marketing design center of the organization my team and I oversaw every internal design need, including—but not limited to—social media, web graphics, email marketing, signage, and Playbill assets.
During my time at The Public Theater I aided in the artistic development of over 40 stage productions, 4 seasons of Shakespeare in The Park at The Delacorte Theater, and the evolution of 5 different season looks. Each season look devised by Paula Scher and her team at Pentagram then, upon close collaboration, integrated by my team and I throughout the season.

Hunts Point Alliance for Children
Every year Hunts Point Alliance for Children’s Shakespeare Ensemble collaborate with The Public Theater to perform a professionally produced, 90-minute Shakespeare play, complete with sets, lights, costumes, and original music. Our role at Brand Studio is to collaborate with HPAC to ideate and design the brand identity for their annual show. As Design Lead, I oversaw the execution of all necessary design collateral, including the printed program and promotional social media graphics.

Career Day
Every year, The Public Theater invites 7 Community Partners and approximately 80 middle schoolers around the city for Career Day. On Career Day, students get a behind-the-scenes look at the many jobs and people it takes to make theater happen through presentations across departments and hands-on group activities with staff. As representative for Marketing & Design, I lead a discussion about the importance of design as a tool for communication and the invitation for our prospective audience members.
Beginning from the design files for last year’s Hunts Point Romeo & Juliet, we worked together to convert it to the 2024-2025 season look while discussing themes from Romeo & Juliet. Thus, emulating the process my team and I undergo when given a brief for a show. Once the artwork was ideated and designed, it was put into a Playbill mockup for students to present.
The goal for Career Day is to get students excited about all of the different career opportunities in the theater world and inspire the next generation of theater makers.
Objective
Work alongside students on a project that helps them understand Marketing & Design at The Public Theater.
